The Democratic 2020 fight for Nevada is rapidly ramping up

The Democratic 2020 fight for Nevada — the oft-forgotten but critically important early presidential nominating state — is rapidly ramping up.

Warren, who had to cancel a January trip to Nevada because of the government shutdown but returned earlier in February, has led the way hiring a local campaign team. Warren has tapped hired Suzy Smith, a veteran Democratic operative who was the digital director for Missouri Democrat Jason Kander’s Let America Vote group, as her state director. Michelle Villegas is Warren’s Nevada political director.
