The free Neurodiverse Culture Festival will be Saturday afternoon at Solon Community Park

This is the first year the festival has been held.

An estimated 15% to 20% of the world’s population has some form of neurodivergence such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder,At the upcoming Neurodiverse Culture Festival, the neurodivergent community can sample an arts and crafts workshop, drum circle, interactive science experiments and music from RockAbility, a band with neurodivergent members.

“We want to only have one type of activity that’s going to bring a decent amount of sound in the area; otherwise you get competing sounds and it gets really overwhelming,” he explained.
