Netflix’s Sleeping Dog is an original German limited series that features a talented cast. Written by Christoph Darnstädt, this six-episode crime thriller follows the story of a fallen cop with amnesia who teams up with a rookie prosecutor to investigate a supposedly closed and solved murder case. The further they find themselves in the case the more they realize how entrenched it is in a conspiracy within the police department and the justice system, endangering them.
Luise von Finckh as Jule Andergast Jule Andergast joins Sleeping Dog cast a rookie prosecutor who collaborates with Mike Atlas to uncover the conspiracy. Andergast’s search for the truth is relentless, regardless of the fact that it endangers her. The character is portrayed by Luise von Finckh, best known for her role as Clara Weiss in the psychological thriller series Vienna Blood.
Antonio Wannek as Roland “Socke” Sokowski Roland Sokowski or “Socke” is Atlas’ former colleague at the police department. He was with Atlas’ during the time of the bombing and is attached to the conspiracy. The role is portrayed by Antonio Wannek, who is best known for his role as Hans Kuscha in the series Dogs of Berlin.
Martin Wuttke as Klaus Hartloff Klaus Hartloff is a powerful and highly connected defense lawyer who doesn’t think the case that Atlas and Andergast and reopening needs further investigating. Hatloff is also implicated in the conspiracy and is one of Atlas’ major suspects. Martin Wuttke, who is best known for his role as Adolf Hitler in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds, portrays the character. Wuttke has also appeared in the science-fiction film Cloud Atlas in multiple roles as Mr.
