During their upfront presentation this week, Netflix unveiled a litany of new projects. First up, Netflix ordered a new show,, from Molly Smith Metzler, creator of projects Maid and Sirens. The show, which is being developed in part with LuckyChap , is new series, and will see Metzler serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, and is described as a drama.
The show will adapt a Peabody Award-winning podcast of the same name by Susan Burton, and follow “one woman’s crusade against Yale Fertility Center after she were operated on without anesthesia during IVF egg retrieval procedures — because a nurse stole their fentanyl. ”.
