Netflix Announces Minecraft Animated Series as the Game Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Mojang, the Swedish developer behind the game, is also working on a Minecraft movie with Warner Bros. and Legendary

The series will be produced using CG animation and is being developed by WildBrain, a Canadian studio with experience bringing beloved shows to Netflix like “Sonic Prime” and “Carmen Sandiego.”with Warner Bros. and Legendary. Scheduled for release on April 4, 2025, the film will feature a star-studded cast including Jack Black and Jason Momoa.
