Film buffs can also attend exclusive screenings, panels and workshops at the UK's biggest animation festival
Producers and animators behind Netflix and Disney's latest releases are giving special talks at Manchester Animation Festival this November.

Meanwhile fans of Scott Pilgrim can catch the first three episodes of the new Scott Pilgrim Takes Off series on Thursday November 16 - the evening before it drops globally on Netflix on Friday November 17.
Hosted by comedian and actress Amy Gledhill, other awards categories include Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and Best Student Film. Across the festival there will be 103 different short films from 26 different countries representing the very best animated short films from across the world. Elsewhere, studio sessions in the programme include panel discussions from triple Academy-Award winning studio PASSION Pictures led by PASSION’s executive producer and head of production, David Park and trailblazing pan-African company Kugali led by CEO, Hamid Ibrahim as he discusses how they defied conventional norms to make a mark in the digital landscape.
