Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has told world leaders at the United Nations that his nation will “continue degrading Hezbollah” until its objectives are met along the Lebanon border
In his most publicly stark terms to date, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told world leaders at the United Nations on Friday that his nation will “continue degrading Hezbollah' until it achieves its goals along the Lebanon border. And he continued his call for 'total victory' in Israel's war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry, part of Gaza’s Hamas government, doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants, but more than half the dead have been women and children, including about 1,300 children under the age of 2. Israel says its military operations are justified and are necessary to defend itself. “This war can come to an end now. All that has to happen is for Hamas to surrender, lay down its arms and release all the hostages,' Netanyahu said.
