A new takeaway is set to come to a new Nottinghamshire housing development
Neighbours on a £30 million new build development are 'pleased' with the progress being made on their estate. Teal Close, between Netherfield and Stoke Bardolph, already includes an Aldi and Birds Bakery, while fast food giant Popeyes confirmed a takeaway will also be built in the area.
Rebecca Morgan, 35 who lives on the estate said: “It’s a great estate, there’s the school, I was happy when the Birds opened, I go in there for a coffee all the time, I’ve had no problems here.”Rebecca, who works as a nurse continued: “I’m pleased with how things are coming along here retail wise.” Janet Moberry, 65, lives in Netherfield. Recently, she’s started shopping at the Aldi at the development. Janet said: “It’s only a short drive for me and it’s never too busy inside. It’s a nice little place, I’d definitely live here.
Em Bryan, 29 lives on the estate. Em works for an accountant, she said: “The Popeyes in the town is definitely popular. I've been past it a few times and there’s always people in there.
