Pleasant Grove Fire Department authorities said the fire started when fireworks were thrown away on the night of Thursday, July 4, and reignited. The home was a total loss afterward.
“It was a massive plume of smoke, and I ran as fast as I could down there to make sure everybody was out,” Gourde said.They weren’t the only ones running to help.One homeowner and her two downstairs renters got out okay.
