Residents in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental , who are affected by the unrest of Kanlaon Volcano received relief goods from GMA Kapuso Foundation through its Operation Bayanihan project.According to "24 Oras" on Wednesday, the residents are still reeling from the eruption of Kanlaon Volcano back in June but had no choice but to evacuate because their homes are situated within the four-kilometer danger zone.
To provide levity, GMA Kapuso Foundation took to Canlaon City with the 63rd Infantry Batallion of the Philippine Army and distributed relief goods to the residents affected by Kanlaon Volcano's unrest,Some farmers have also asked for livelihood assistance now that their crops have been damaged.GMA Kapuso Foundation will soon head to La Castellana in Negros Occidental to deliver aid to other evacuees.
