Negri Sembilan expects record RM9 billion investments in 2022
The Negri Sembilan government is expecting total investments to reach more than RM9 billion this year, the highest recorded in the state’s history, Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun says. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 31, 2022.
He said the investment momentum in the state has strengthened with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority recording approved investments totalling RM1.48 billion up to the second quarter of this year. “This includes RM6 billion from Samsung SDI Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd to build a factory to make electric vehicle battery cells in Phase 2 in Tuanku Ja’afar Industrial Area, Senawang.
