SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar and all state executive committee members will return their official vehicles before the start of the campaign period for the upcoming state polls.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said in principle, they could still use the official vehicles after nomination day in their capacity as the caretaker government, but have decided against it.
Aminuddin will be seeking the consent of the Negri ruler Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir next Wednesday to dissolve the state assembly.Aminuddin had also decided against using his official car when he contested for the Port Dickson parliamentary seat in the general election in November last year.
