Negri team manager Mohd Khairollah Abd Latif, in response to the fans’ allegations, said it is not true that his team were not well prepared.The manager said Negri lost to the Johor side because they fielded mostly youngsters who lacked experience even though JDT II also consisted of young players. “We will learn from this setback. We will improve and come out with a better strategy for the coming match .”
