The story unfolds in a future where only one Turtle survives: Michelangelo. He is the final survivor after an intense war with Beth Foot Clan, which killed the rest of the team, including Master Splinter and Casey Jones. He now carries the memories and weapons of his fallen brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, and Raphael, and becomes 'The Last Ronin.' He seeks vengeance against Shredder's grandson, Oroku Hiroto, while encountering an old friend.
