The 108-mile ride and after -arty will raise funds to support those living with dementia in San Diego County
Nearly 300 motorcycle riders are expected to roar across San Diego County on Saturday morning during a fundraiser for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in the region.
Saturday’s 117-mile route will take riders from the San Diego Harley-Davidson starting point at 4645 Morena Blvd., out to East County into the Cleveland National Forest. After cruising back west and up the coast through Coronado, the ride will end with an 11:30 a.m. after-party hosted at AleSmith Brewing at 9990 AleSmith Ct. For this year’s fundraiser, AleSmith has brewed a #Ride Out, hoppy pilsner, and a portion of the beer’s sales will be donated to Alzheimer’s San Diego.
“It’s a great resource — the people at Alzheimer’s San Diego are always there, the resources just keep flowing all free and available,” Loska said.
