KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 14,922 individuals were held during Phase 1 and 2 of the movement control order which began on March 18, said Bukit Aman CID director Huzir Mohamed.Huzir said police also detected six individuals who were repeat offenders of the MCO.
He said police would continue to open investigation papers and bring MCO violators to the deputy public prosecutor to charge them. Some motorists stopped at roadblocks have been giving silly excuses for not following the stay-at-home order.
