TRAFFIC ALERT: All southbound lanes of I-880 are blocked near Dixon Landing Road due to police activity, CHP says.
A CHP official told NBC Bay Area that there was a shooting that caused the freeway to shut down, but won't confirm if the shooting happened on the freeway.
, all vehicles were being diverted off at Mission Boulevard. Officials are also asking the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes.No other details have been released at this time.
