NCT's Red Line 50 service will serve the 800-home Teal Close development in Gedling
A Nottingham City Transport bus service will be extended to serve a growing new development and encourage its residents away from using the car. Nottingham City Council has agreed that the Red Line 50 service will be expanded to serve those living on the Teal Close development between Netherfield and Stoke Bardolph in Gedling.
The 50 service, which saw the introduction of some of NCT's first electric buses in April, currently runs before 7pm from Monday to Saturday on a commercial basis, as well as on a council contract basis during evenings and Sundays.
