Wednesday's livestream was also in celebration of the group’s five-year anniversary. On this day in 2016, NCT 127 released their very first single “Firetruck.” The band celebrated the milestone with a virtual talk show, games and performances in addition to the album announcement.Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Mark, Jungwoo and Haechan are the men behind NCT 127, whose name is inspired by the longitude number of Seoul, symbolizing the group’s home base.
As a subunit, NCT 127 has quite a few projects under its belt, with several mini albums in their discography as well as two studio albums. They’ve also garnered plenty of chart successes to go around in their five years together: Their second full album,
