Livermore’s bats stay hot in another high-scoring game, Alameda falls to Casa Grande, California routs EBAL rival

Junior Jae Cosgriff led the charge, going 3 for 4 with two doubles and a home run with two RBIs. Senior teammate Alizabeth Ruiz tied her for the team lead in RBIs while also going 2 for 4 at the plate. Alameda’s run ended in the semifinal, Casa Grande’s sophomore pitcher Georgia Moss nearly unhittable at home. The Hornets could only muster four hits all game, with junior Katy Lambert going 2 for 3 and Cheyenne Caina’s double the sole extra-base hit for Alameda. The loss dropped Alameda to 18-6.
