The National Capital Region Athletic Association (NCRAA) returns from a four-year hiatus when its 29th season unfolds Friday, March 10, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

A total of 15 schools are participating this season with centerpiece basketball firing off starting at 9:30 a.m. Spearheading the charge would be defending champion Centro Escolar University, Philippine Merchant Marine School , PATTS College of Aeronautics, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, Asian Institute of Maritime Studies , Immaculada Concepcion College , Lyceum of the Philippines University-Laguna, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, University of Luzon, Emilio Aguinaldo College-Cavite, St.

“We hope to continue providing venues for athletes who want to become national team players in the future,” said NCRAA General Manager, Buddy Encarnado. PATTS and PMMS raise the curtain at 9:30 a.m., followed by a simple opening ceremony at 11:30 a.m. that would be graced by league president, Benjamin Hernandez Jr.Aside from basketball, other sports to be contested this season are volleyball, beach volleyball, esports and chess.
