Dons suffer painful overtime loss in their first NCAA Tournament game since 1998.

Murray State called timeout with 8 seconds left but could not get a shot off on its final possession, forcing overtime. Bouyea’s senior backcourt mate Khalil Shabazz, who had averaged 19.9 points over the previous eight games, missed his first seven shots in a 3-point performance. And USF played without All-West Coast Conference senior forward Yauhen Massalski, sidelined by a knee injury.
