“We’ll let the Comelec finish its own internal probe. If a wider investigation is found necessary and NBI assistance would be useful, we’d gladly oblige,” Guevarra stressed. The Technews team of the Manila Bulletin discovered that a group of hackers was able to reportedly breach Comelec servers, allegedly downloading more than 60 gigabytes of data.MB’s Technews team immediately informed Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez of its findings.
