North Texans can expect highs near 70 and a strong south breeze before rain chances return Tuesday.
Monday morning temperatures are starting off rather mild for February with widespread 50s. Morning clouds will develop and stick around for most of the day. Afternoon highs will climb to near 70 later today with a strong south breeze. The wind could gust over 30 mph today, so plan accordingly if you work outside or drive a high profile vehicle.
Aside from a sprinkle or two today, the day looks dry before a much better chance of rain Tuesday. Widespread showers and a few thunderstorms are in the forecast Tuesday. Temperatures will begin to cool-down as well . The chance of rain will carryover into Wednesday as well with chillier air returning. We could pick up between 1-2" of rain before all is said and done.
The pattern will dry out once again toward the weekend. Another chance of rain will return toward the middle of next week.
