Warmer weather is advancing into North Texas today. Beneath mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will climb out of the 60s and into the upper 70s and lower 80s later today. In addition, a breezy south wind will be in place all day. The chance of rain is very low today to account for a chance of morning drizzle.
Thursday will start with clouds, but sunshine will increase through the day. South winds will gust over 30 mph both days. A stray shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out late in the day. The next shot at thunderstorms will be late Thursday night into early Friday morning. The storms will likely be severe Thursday evening across parts of West Texas, but they will decrease in intensity as they move east toward the I-35 corridor. The storms will move out of DFW by late morning Friday, leaving some sunshine for the afternoon.Latest Forecast:Patchy morning drizzle.
