Some brief showers are affecting North Texas this morning. It won't last long, but the rain is contributing to the chilly conditions this morning. Clouds will give way to partial sunshine later today with a high in the 60s.
A low chance of thunderstorms is in the forecast Thursday with warmer weather pushing in. A higher chance of thunderstorms is still expected Friday. Some of these could be strong to severe as they develop around midday. They should be push out of the DFW area by mid-afternoon. Friday will be quite warm with a high in the lower 80s.
The weekend still looks nice for outdoor activities, especially Saturday. By Sunday afternoon, a low chance of thunderstorms returns. Next week it's not out of the question to see temperatures get close to 90.: Brief showers possible in the morning, then clouds giving way to partial sunshine. High: 68. Wind: SE 10 mph.
