Orlando Magic players left the arena after Bucks players boycotted Game 5 of the NBA playoffs in protest of the shooting of Jacob Blake. All Wednesday games have been postponed.
The WNBA announced its three regular season games Wednesday -- being held at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida -- would also be postponed. "Some things are bigger than basketball," Bucks Senior Vice President Alex Lasry tweeted."The stand taken today by the players and org shows that we’re fed up. Enough is enough. Change needs to happen. I’m incredibly proud of our guys and we stand 100% behind our players ready to assist and bring about real change.
Milwaukee is the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference in the NBA playoffs. They lost Game 1, but have won three straight games.
