Everything you need to know about the NBA 3-point contest:
The NBA 3-Point Contest has two rounds. Each participant will compete in the First Round. They will have 70 seconds to shoot as many of the 27 basketballs provided.
The three highest participants will advance to the Championship Round. The order will be inverse of the first-round scores. For example, the participant with the lowest score will begin the championship round.The NBA 3-Point Contest will also utilize instant replay at the discretion of the referee to determine rules compliance.
There are tiebreakers in place. In the first round, if a tiebreaker is needed, the participants will be granted a 30-second session to break the tie. This will follow the same format as listed above. In the championship round, a full 70-second session will be enacted to determine a winner. This will be repeated until a clear winner is decided.
