The South African Council of Churches is concerned about Monday's planned national shutdown.
READ:It's protesting against rolling blackouts and calling for President Cyril Ramaphosa's resignation."The issue is that our experience has shown that it happens without necessarily been planned by the organisers," said Bishop Malusi Mpulwana.
"We've had a horrible experience of July 2021, it's very difficult for South Africans to put that behind their minds. "But we do recognise that every South African, every organisation has a a right to demonstrate in our society."
