COPT Defense Properties owns a cluster of properties on San Antonio’s far West Side, Bexar County property records show.
A Maryland -based real estate investment trust whose San Antonio tenants include the National Security Agency is expanding its footprint on the city’s far West Side . A company affiliated with COPT Defense Properties bought an empty 80,362-square-foot office building at 3900 Rogers Road in the Westover Hills area last week from a partnership linked to Trans American Research and Development Corp. of Virginia, deed records show.
Construction underway on data centers spanning 1.7 million square feet on the West Side COPT owns, manages and leases space to government, defense and information technology tenants. The real estate investment trust owns a cluster of properties on the far West Side, including buildings leased to the NSA and its Texas Cryptologic Center and a data center operated by Amazon, Bexar County records show.
