Pifer believes that having a clear understanding of 'why' a goal is important makes it easier to adhere to it. Furthermore, she stresses the value of accountability partners, workout buddies, coaches, or communities that provide support and encouragement, helping individuals stay on track toward their aspirations.Kendrick Sanker, a financial planner, suggests linking goals with a budget to enhance consistency in achieving them. He advises individuals to consider their vision for the future and how their goals align with it. 'I think it has to be tied to a vision of 'where do you want to be next year?' Is this in relation to you getting a new house, or you moving out of your parents' house?' Sanker posits that connecting the challenge to a desired outcome, such as joy or a sense of accomplishment, can be highly motivating. 'I think at the end of the day, everyone wants to have some type of feeling of joy coming out of this. And so how does this make you joyful? Tie the tie the challenge to the result,' he concludes
