Through the three-day event, the Garden State compiled a 13-10-1 record against all comers from coast-to-coast.Junior goalie Emily Nicholls had 11 saves and stopped a penalty stroke as the Irish — No. 2 in the NJ.com Top 20 — knocked off its second nationally-ranked team in less than 24 hours. Darien went into the weekend ranked No. 12 in the Max Field Hockey USA Top 25. Camden Catholic is No. 6 in that national poll.
Senior Kayla Dever, junior Brooke Mitchell and junior Bella Moore scored two goals each in the win. Freshman Sophia Stazi and sophomore Lauren Iaccio added two assists each.
