The on loan Reds defender got his first 45 minutes in the hoops before being withdrawn as a precaution with a big Champions League match with Feyenoord in mind for Brendan Rodgers.
Nat Phillips has reacted to his first taste of action for Celtic as Virgil van Dijk left a nod to his former club.
He wasn't ready to feature in that game but with two weeks training under his belt during the international break he was called upon from the start against Dundee and played 45 minutes before being withdrawn. The plan was for the stopper to get an hour but after rolling his ankle towards the end of the first period, Rodgers decided to take no risks with Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday in mind and replaced the 26-year-old.
