Police released bodycam footage Tuesday of the moment officers searched The Covenant School and neutralized shooter Audrey Hale after the suspect shot and killed six people Monday.
“The kids are all locked down, but we have two kids that we don’t know where they are,” she told police.The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department released the video, which shows officers Englebert and Michael Collazo enter the school and go door to door looking for the shooter.
“Not knowing what the circumstances really were upon arrival, officers remain calm and collected, not raising anxiety but making the entry as necessary to go search for the suspect,” CNN law enforcement analyst Jonathan Wackrow said.“And these officers did a remarkable job.”Nashville Police have released the bodycam footage and it cannot be stressed enough how remarkable this response was. These men are absolute heroes.
