The 30-year-old said a lot will depend on the results of scans he will get this week.

Bowman injured his back back in late April in a sprint car crash. He was running in a High Limit Spring Car Series event in Iowa when the accident occurred, and was initially given a 3-to-4 week timetable for a return.
