The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the track after its only off-week of the season, with this week’s race taking place in Music City, as the green flag drops on the Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway at 7 p.m. Sunday .
The last time NASCAR’s top series raced two weeks ago, Martin Truex Jr. won at Sonoma, giving him the Cup Series points lead. It was Truex’s fourth career win at the road course, which is the most of any active driver. Hamlin has traditionally done well at intermediate tracks between 1-2 miles in length. Out of his 49 career wins, 24 of them have come at that distance.
