a new exhibit featuring 10 multidisciplinary artists who collaborated with scientists and engineers from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The exhibit will be on display at the Brand Library & Art Center in Glendale, Calif., starting Sept. 21. It’s part of, a massive five-month multidisciplinary art event supported by the Getty Foundation that takes place in art and educational institutions across Southern California every two years.

“We wanted to explore the landscape of human relationships with that ever-expanding environment, and to think about how empathy and connectedness can both reveal new worlds and inspire innovative ways to nurture them,” Delgado said. “At the same time, we want to consider how greater connectedness with the natural world can foster a renewed sense of wonder and curiosity about our planet — and the cosmos.
