Narrows remain closed as search widens for woman swept up in Zion flash flood

The search for the missing 29-year-old woman is concentrated on areas in or near the Virgin River with deep, fast-flowing water.

Jetal Agnihotri went missing Friday, when the park received about an inch of rain, triggering flash flooding.

Jetal Agnihotri, of Tucson, Arizona, was reported overdue from a hike in The Narrows area on Friday evening, after Zion received between a half-inch and 1½ inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
