“I hope that this book can play a part in making women feel a little less alone, a little more supported, and dare I say, a little more excited about the natural changes that life has in store for us,” Watts added.actress, who previously revealed that she felt like she was “spiraling out of control” when she began experiencing early menopause symptoms at age 36.

Passionate about raising more awareness about this natural life change, the actress went on to found her menopause wellness brand, Stripes Beauty, in 2022. Her new book is just another step on that journey to getting rid of the stigma.“My story started so early. It was so shocking and just flooded me with shame that I just went into a panic,” she toldin a June interview, calling it “ridiculous” that there weren’t better resources or a community to navigate the natural transition.

"I had a lot of anxiety in the lead up to creating , and then I just felt like, well, every woman is going to get to this point. Why are we not getting better care?" she told the publication. "There's just a lack of education and research.
