She then covers her seat with a blanket — she has a collection of them in “fun” colors, like pink and turquoise, and asks whatever hotel she’s staying at to give them a good hand-washing when she arrives. Finally, she does her “hydration” skin-care routine before putting on the pièce de résistance: a face mask and her gigantic sunglasses. “No matter what plane you take, private or commercial, as the plane descends, people start coughing and sneezing,” she explains.
