The Columbus woman accused of kidnapping twin infants just before Christmas two Decembers ago has pled guilty to the crime in federal court Wednesday.
The Senate voted against allowing the border security and foreign aid deal to proceed to full debate, 49-50. The deal's future is uncertain.According to a statement from the U.S. District Court of Southern Ohio, the change of plea hearing was scheduled for for 2 p.m.an overnight AMBER Alert
that made national headlines. Ky'air Thomas was found hours later in the freezing cold in a parking lot near Dayton International Airport. Kason was found several days later abandoned in a stolen car in Indianapolis, where police also took Jackson into custody. The boys were unharmed, but several weeks later, Ky'air Thomas died as a result of Sudden Unexplained Infant Death.
Jackson changed her plea to guilty on Wednesday on two counts of kidnapping of a minor, and she has agreed to a sentence of 20 years.
