A Massachusetts man was reportedly arrested for attacking a man walking his dog, as well as choking the animal, while running naked along a popular riverside trail. Citing the Ludlow Police Department, the media outlet reported that Marano was charged with disorderly conduct, threatening to use a deadly weapon, assault and battery, open and gross lewdness, indecent exposure, and cruelty to animals.
The alleged attack occurred on Sunday morning along the River Walk in Ludlow, where officers responded to reports of a naked man threatening people in the area, the outlet noted. Authorities said the dog walker, who was not named, told officers that Marano threatened him with a weapon, physically attacked him, and then picked up his dog and began choking the animal, per When officers arrived at the scene, they found Marano nude, the outlet noted.
He was taken into custody without incident.reported that the person who was allegedly attacked, as well as the dog -- described as a full-grown pitbull -- were not seriously hurt.
