Recently, a video went viral of a nail salon in China that appeared to show topless, muscular male manicurists attending to female customers who ended up having a nosebleed.
According to China Press, following the video’s virality, the nail salon in the Wuhua district of Kunming, China, has come under investigation by the country’s authorities. The video showed one entirely shirtless man and another wearing just an apron attending to female customers. Meanwhile, the video also included a woman having a nosebleed during her manicure session.
However, in response to queries by mainland Chinese media, the nail salon replied that it is a regular salon and that the video was shot as an advertising joke for promotional purposes. They clarified that one of the men featured in the video is an apprentice at the salon, while the second man is his friend, whilst the female customer with the “nosebleed” is a salon staff member.
China Press quoted a spokesperson for the Wuhua district authorities as saying that it launched the investigation after it received complaints from consumers. Also read: Girl In China Asks Dad For A Cat, He Shows Her The Reality Of Owning One
