“I mean these nails were so amazing, even if controversial,” Cummings reflects over the phone from her home in London. “Emma wearing a quite elegant Mui Mui dress, matching hair bonnet, and then these healthy, sharp, long nails which kind of call to mind. And that was intentional—we wanted to contrast her vibe instead of going for the nice little manicure that was expected. We wanted to have a wow affect for such an elegant dress and person.
