An electrical audit is underway at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, which was hit by a power outage on Labor Day.
Manila International Airport Authority officer-in-charge Bryan Co said the audit being conducted with power distributor Meralco began Friday, and is expected to be completed in three weeks.
The results will help MIAA determine the"various equipment needed to be upgraded, rehabilitated or purchased" to make the terminal's power system"reliable and resilient." he noted. Co also said MIAA has yet to determine the timeline and the budget need for the necessary upgrades at Terminal 3.
