BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty and Carol Kirkwood were kept apart by co-host Ben Thompson after the meteorologist appeared to forget Naga's name live on air
BBC Breakfast fans witnessed an amusing on-air mix-up between Naga Munchetty and Scots weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, when Carol seemed to forget Naga's name during a live broadcast.
Defending herself, Carol retorted: "How could I forget? " Then Naga turned to Ben and poked fun at herself: "She's of no importance Ben, she's none, she's just the showgirl." Earlier this year, Naga shared some details about her early bird routine leading up to the BBC Breakfast show. She is up early and sets her alarm for 3.45am to get to the BBC studios by 4.50am.
"As a kid, my mum would have to physically pull me from my bed. My first thought is always: how long can I stay here before I have to drag my arse to the gym? ". Naga added: "Monday to Wednesday I whack my dressing gown on, check the news sites and do some life admin before 45 minutes of running or weights. By 7.15 I'm home and in the shower."
