WASHINGTON — New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a notice on Thursday seeking more information about former President Donald Trump's bond for the civil fraud case, which was issued by Knight Specialty Insurance Company.

The New York attorney general's office did not immediately respond to a request for further comment either. NBC News previously reported that Hankey had been negotiating to post a $557 million bond with the Trump Organization when a state appeals court ruled on March 25 that the bond would be reduced to $175 million.
