Passaic county woman arrested following a carjacking Friday afternoon.
A Paterson woman was arrested and charged in connection with a carjacking Friday afternoon in the city, authorities announced.
Responding to reports of a carjacking, Paterson police made their way to an area near 20th Avenue and Railroad Avenue in Paterson around 12:35 p.m. on Friday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said in a press release. Once in Paterson, the women told authorities that McRae began to get aggressive, assaulted them in the vehicle and they were forced out of the car before McRae made off with the child.
