After seasonable temperatures Saturday, New Jersey is in for a stretch of colder-than-normal weather.
Parts of New Jersey may see scattered showers Saturday, with a chance that some may include gusty winds or even hail.say that along with the “hit or miss” showers there could thunderstorms, but they are not expected to be severe.
Some places could see hail or graupel thanks to cold air above the state, while other places might not even see a shower at all, the service said. The precipitation is most likely in the afternoon. Otherwise, the state will see cloudy skies with temperatures in the 50s throughout the day and falling to the low 30s in the evening. While temperatures are dropping, New Jersey will see gusty winds that could get as strong as 30 to 40 mph.
Scattered showers are expected to develop into this afternoon. The showers may produce small hail, graupel, gusty winds, and some thunder. Not everyone will get a shower though! Otherwise, a mostly cloudy but seasonable day is on tap with Highs 50-55°. 🌧️
