High temperatures will be slightly cooler, in the upper 40s to lower 50s, with a noticeable shift to cooler air behind the front. Saturday night will turn seasonably cold under clear skies, with temperatures dropping into the 20s across interior locations, near 30 degrees along the coast, and middle 30s in metro areas. Frost is expected in non-metro areas. Sunday and Monday will bring seasonably cool and dry conditions with high pressure in control. Temperatures will reach the 50s both days under mostly sunny skies. The next chance of rain arrives late Tuesday into Tuesday night as another frontal system approaches, with warm air moving in ahead of the system, forecasters said.
